- Peter G. Hack, P.E. Project Manager
In February, March and April of 2006, BMCA/Air Duct performed a complicated project at the Vermont Veterans Home in Bennington, Vermont. This project consisted of cleaning ductwork, air handling units, grills, coils, diffusers etc. throughout the older 143,000 square foot multi-wing nursing home facility. The facility was fully occupied and remained operational during their performance of the contract, which required strict coordination and attention to the needs of the staff and patients. The competitively bid contract amount was approximately $70,000. Air Duct did an excellent job and completed the work in a timely and professional manner. It was a pleasure to work with them, and the Home is very happy with their performance, flexibility, and professionalism. I would recommend Air Duct for any size project in any type of facility. This is the first time that State Buildings has used Air Duct and I look forward to working with them again in the future!

Just tremendous. What a way to run a company. Great people. Super work ethic. A complete service company. You do it all. It was a pleasure to have Air Duct Services work for us. Mike made our house whole again. Mike made it easy in every aspect of the job. From his handshake to his smile, he brings the happiness to the job and took charge immediately.

Our tenant called yesterday regarding the work done in his apartment and his overall experience with them was outstanding. He was blown away by how clean they left his apartment, making sure everything was put safely away and covered while working. He was shocked to come home and find everything put back exactly as it was prior to when the work was being done. He also said that while working there a light switch was broken and shocked to see it fixed. Mr. Chamberlin was very apprehensive about having the men in his apartment because of all of the horror stories he’s heard from other people who have had work done in their homes while at work or away.
Today I completed a walk-through of the above referenced project that Air Duct Services & Restoration provided for us. From my observation, Air Duct Services & Restoration has fully accomplished what we contracted them to do.

It is through the support of caring people like you that South Shore Habitat for Humanity will help more families move out of substandard housing and into safe, more decent homes...
- Shannon McNamee, Community Development Coordinator
On behalf of the South Shore Habitat for Humanity, thank you so much for your generous donation of time, supervision, and project materials to our volunteers at South Shore Habitat for Humanity’s projects at 83 Echo Street in Brockton and 2 Turner Drive in Randolph. In-kind contributions are especially valuable in contributing to the productivity of the both days. South Shore Habitat for Humanity is an independent, non-profit organization responsible for its own fundraising, volunteer recruitment, publicity, and construction. Since its founding in 1986, South Shore Habitat has completed 42 homes for low- income families throughout the three cities and 29 towns that we serve. Through partnerships with local government, community members, churches, schools, businesses, and civic groups, we have been able to provide decent, affordable homes for 74 adults and 148 children. In-kind donation of materials and professional labor are incredibly valuable to our organization and we are very grateful that you chose to make a donation to our current building projects. It is through the support of caring people like you that South Shore Habitat for Humanity will help more families move out of substandard housing and into safe, more decent homes. Habitat for Humanity International founder Millard Fuller once said, “For a community to be whole and healthy it must be based on people’s love and concern for each other.” Thank you for demonstrating your care and concern. By making this contribution to South Shore Habitat for Humanity, you help us build safe homes and better futures for families’ right here in our community.
